Sophie has always liked horses, but it has turned to unicorns lately. This painting was outside a carousel we rode.
I love this make-shift unicorn costume she made out of a rabbit tail, super-friend mask and Dora knee pad. Look at the resolution on her face! She longs to be a unicorn, it’s a dream she reports pretty regularly.
Lately, Sophie includes in every prayer (no exaggeration, it really is EVERY time) a line where she asks her Heavenly Father, “to please let us have a pet unicorn.” I think she knows they are make-believe, but Sophie LIVES for make-believe. It’s so much fun to watch her, she just has so much PASSION!
