Good news, they can fix my camera! For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, my camera broke suddenly a couple weeks ago, mid picture. The repair shop called me this week, it will cost us around $170 to get it repaired and take about 2 weeks. I am relieved that we aren't trying to scrape together money to buy a camera right now. Hopefully after this repair (turned out to be the submirror) my camera will hold up for another year or two. By that time Dan will be graduated and hopefully have a real job! This has been a HUGE stress for me because I am just lost without my camera. I take pictures a few times a week and have missed it terribly. It's not something I can just go without for very long! Am I sick? What can't you live without?

I hope you enjoy our blog. I started it so friends and family could check in on us while we are away to school. But now it's sort of turned into my online scrapbook/journal! It's mostly about our girls, Sophie and Tessa... but I try to include updates on us as well. I love your input so please feel free to comment!

"I will close my eyes, what I am, ok?" After you agree, she closes her eyes and describes her new imaginary self in detail, when she opens her eyes, she IS that animal/character! This happens all day, everyday.
"I am scared of Dumbo."
"This is my Tessa, she's my sister."
"I never (fill in the blank, be it go potty, put on my shoes etc.)!"
"It makes your froat (throat) feel better mom!" She says this about EVERYTHING, all kinds of food, and even activities.
When Sophie wants something, instead of asking for it she cleverly hints, "I like milk Mom!" Or "Mama, I like help."
"Let's read skistures, then pray then eat ice cream and go to bed."
"YOU can do it Mom!" (This is right after I've told her she can do something but she doesn't want to.)
"Why NOT?!"
"Hmmm, that's weird."
"Give me a hug!" (said several times a day)
"Mommy (or Daddy), what ARE you talking about?"
If Tessa is sad Sophie tries to cheer her up by telling her she's in the presence of royalty. "Look Tessa, it's [insert Disney princess name here]!"
"No sleep, just awake!"
When you ask a Soph a question instead of saying yes she says, "OK!"

I am the same way with my camera...I don't know what I would do if I lost it or it broke! Nathanael hates it because I am constantly taking pictures of EVERYTHING! I like to think that one day he will be grateful for all of the pictures I take. :) We shall see...

My cell phone and computer...Glad to hear to don't have to pay a small fortune to get your camera fixed! You've got a REAL talent for photography, so I'm glad you won't have to be "without" for a long time!
Yeah!! I can't live without the pictures your camera produces! I will be there taking my own pictures in 3 more days!! Woowoo!
I can't imagine seeing the world in any other way than through the view finder on my camera.
In the word of wisdom is does say we should refain from anything habit forming :)
