Dan attended the "Gunpowder Get Together" this Saturday with the Elder's Quorum. They had their first activity in awhile and decided they better do the most MANLY thing they could think of, shoot guns. They went up to the mountains and did some target practice and clay pigeon shooting. They had a variety of guns including: a 12 and a 20 gauge shot gun, 5 twenty-two's (one had a scope), a 9mm and a 40 caliber pistol, and an assault rifle they got a hold of because a highway patrol person came. (Dan was more than willing to list off all the guns they had at their disposal so my post could be accurate.) He had such a GREAT time! Personally, I've never shot a gun nor had any desire to do so, but Dan sure enjoys it. The only thing he's not enjoying quite so much is the sunburn he acquired at that high altitude. :) But I am glad he got to go enjoy himself. Also, I'd like to send out a big THANK YOU to the Lawrences the pictures!!
